KIDO has partnered with the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB) and CIC Insurance to provide comprehensive health coverage for its members. Packages range from Silver (Moroto) to Gold (Elgon) and Platinum (Rwenzori), offering benefits such as hospitalization, maternity care, cancer treatment, psychiatric care, dental and optical services, and overseas referrals.

Entry is open from birth to 80 years, with special provisions for seniors up to 75 years. Existing members above 80 years will continue to be covered. Contributions also support an Insurance Development Fund (IDF) to care for retired clergy.

“This is more than insurance — it is a ministry of compassion,” noted diocesan leaders. Health literacy programs, medical camps, and quarterly utilization reports will ensure transparency and impact.
